The privacy of our users and customers is very important to us. This document explains how we at Praxtour manage the personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is the controller of your data?
Praxtour VirtuReal Cycling BV (Praxtour) is the owner of indoor Bikes ‘Course’, ‘Cruise’, ‘CtR’ ‘Comfort’ and Software Programs ‘PraxCloud’, ‘PraxFit’, ‘PraxSpin’, ‘PraxFilm’ and ‘VirtuRealCyling’. Its corporate data is provided. Praxtour is responsible for processing the personal data that the user provides through the website and is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone with whom it deals and respecting all legal requirements in terms of data protection with the utmost guarantee of confidentiality and security.

What data do we collect?
Praxtour collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.);
  • To become a Praxtour user, you are asked for certain additional information through the form in order to complete the purchase based on the payment methods offered.

Praxtour uses third-party payment services to manage purchases. These providers satisfy the security standards required by the regulation for payment providers.

How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Praxtour with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Become a user by registering for a license or place an order for any of our products or services;
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback via email;
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

Create an account through the registration form
We request the user’s name, surnames, address, phone number and email to process the registration. For some programs we create a Username and Password  that will be used to log into the user profile.
It is necessary to provide this information in order to complete the registration.

Using data
The user can choose its product(s) and the routefilms (or films). It will be possible to save exercising results and share these results, after permission, with therapists or other cycling apps. The user can also choose to delete the results or the possibilty of sharing data with their therapists.

Process of user information
The basis for processing the information needed to obtain a Praxtour product or licence is the need to process said information in order to complete the user’s product or license.
The basis for all other processing is the consent of the user, who accepts this privacy policy when registering on the website. As a result, it is important that the user understand this policy and ask any questions before accepting it.
In addition, when providing the registration information, the user guarantees its authenticity. If it is not, the user will be responsible for any damage that may be caused to Praxtour or third parties for not providing accurate information, which may be fictitious.
Our purpose for processing the information is directly related to the management of the service provided to the user through Praxtour.

User notifications
The user may receive email notifications related to the service’s activities. These notifications include information for updates, new routes, commercial information and messages. The communications received by the user also include a link to unsubscribe from said communications.

Disclosures to third parties by Praxtour
The use of the services provided by Praxtour may require disclosing the user’s information to third parties. In order to send products, for example the cadence sensor, the user’s contact information will be provided to the transport companies so they can ship it to the address provided by the user.

Data storage
The user can decide when he wants to delete the data they provide through the user profile and application history. Once the user decides to delete it, Praxtour will not store this data. This data will be stored for as long as the user decides to be registered with Praxtour. If the user decides to cancel, Praxtour will delete their data, with the exception of data associated with product purchases, which must be stored for as long as legally required by law.
We will also store the user’s email for five years to track the users of the simulator trial period and avoid undue abuse of this trial option.

Exercise of rights
Data subjects may exercise their right to access their personal data, request that it be corrected or deleted, limit its processing, object to its processing and the right to portability by sending an email to the following address: info@praxtour.com or  info@praxcloud.eu. 
In any case, the user concerned must attach a copy of his/her national identity card, passport or other valid identification document.
If the exercise of these rights is not to the user’s satisfaction, he may file a claim with the Personal Data Authority (=Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) in the Netherlands.

Security measures
The user’s personal data is processed in the strictest confidentiality. Praxtour takes all necessary technical and organizational measures, depending on the data type, to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the personal data that is processed.

Restrictions for minors
It is strictly forbidden for minors under the age of 14 to provide personal data to Praxour. In addition, purchase transactions can only be made by adults. If anyone under the age of 14 provides information, or under the age of 18 makes a purchase, their parents or guardians are solely responsible for this circumstance. If you are a minor, please ask your parents or guardians to contact us.

Cookies
This website uses cookies that are installed in the user’s browser, if so configured, when the user accesses the www.praxtour.com and www.PraxCloud.eu  and interacts with the website.

Social media
Praxtour owns accounts in various social networks (Facebook, YouTube and Instagram). The processing of said data by Praxtour is as allowed by the social networks themselves through their services. Praxtour does not extract personal information from said networks on those networks’ followers and users. Praxtour uses these social networks to advertise its services and offers related to the platform itself, in compliance with the contracting conditions established by the owners of the social networks themselves.
